MK-Rent is a local cheap car rent that is part of the car sales company MK-Automyynti Oy. Their main business is in dealing of used cars but they also offer rental services in Helsinki. At the moment they rent cars with 45€/day and vans cost 60€/day.

Local car rental company: Easykm

Easykm is local car rental company in Helsinki. Easykm is a low cost car rental but their office is not at the airport or at the city center. Easykm car rental is located in Pasila which is few kilometres north from the city center.

Tigercarrental - Low cost car rental in Helsinki

Easyrent - Cheap local car rent company in Helsinki

Easyrent is a cheap local car rent company that operates in Helsinki. They are located at Agricolankatu 7 in Kallio, Helsinki. They can easily be reached with public transportation: The tram 3 stop (Karhupuisto) and the Hakaniemi metro station are only a short walk away from their offices.

Easyrent is cheap but you have to remember that they are only one office company so their variety of available cars can be limited at peak times.

Local car rental: Scandia Rent

Scandia Rent is the largest Finnish car rental network. Scandia Rent is not internationally known brand but a major player in the Finnish car rental market. Scandia Rent can be very good choice if you need more flexibility than Hertz and other international companies can provide. Scandia Rent offices are entrepreneur run and they are usually very motivated to serve their customers. Scandia rent offers also longer term rent cars.

In Helsinki you can find Scandia Rent at Helsinki Airport, at Hotel Crown Plaza (Mannerheimintie 50, walking distance from center) and at street address Pietarinkatu 22 (Eira, southern Helsinki). Personally I have done business with Scandia Rent Pietarinkatu and I can recommend their flexibility if you have special needs for car.

Hertz Car Hire in Helsinki

Especially for corporate customers it is important to do business with well known brands. Hertz Car Hire is known everywhere. In Helsinki they service points for tourists are located at the main railway station, at Mannerheimintie 44 (very close to the center) and at the Helsinki Airport. Hertz has also service points located at car repairs but they are mainly focused on renting cars for people whose own car is in repair.

Cheap car rental in Helsinki: Budget car rent

Budget car rental is part of the international Budget group. In Helsinki Budget car rental has two service points. One is located in the Kamppi area very close to the city center and the other one is at the Helsinki Airport. The center service point is at Malminkatu 24 and it is very close to the Metro station Kamppi and it is walking distance from everywhere in the center. At Helsinki Airport Budget car rental is located in the Hallway connecting terminals 1 and 2.

Budget car rental is usually one of the cheapest among big companies so if you want moderately priced car rentals but want to do business with well known international company I recommend Budget car rental in Helsinki.
