Actum car rental has their office in Herttoniemi (metro connection from the center). Actum rents cars, vans, minibuses and they also offer longer term leasing agreements. Actum is perhaps not the best alternative to short term tourists due to their location but if you stay longer in Helsinki it may be worth asking their offer about longer term car rental agreement.
